Scheduler

The Event Scheduler allows a user to schedule tasks to occur automatically. These may be set as one-time events, on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as desired, depending on the event. The scheduler is accessed from the main side menu.

Events that may be scheduled are as follows:

Event Scheduler Main Screen

The event scheduler main screen will list all currently scheduled events and allows users to create a new event.

Event status will be shown as Active, Complete or Disabled. Active events may be recurring or set to occur only once depending on the event. Events that are recurring will give both a Start and End date and time whereas a one-time event will only list a Start date and time. Clicking the icon will allow a user to edit the event. Clicking the icon will delete the event. Columns may be sorted.

To enable or disable an event, click the status icon next to the event. Completed icons will remain in the list until a user removes it. Completed events may  be cloned for reuse by clicking the logo in the desired row.

Each event can only run a single task.

Completed events will trigger a log entry in the SageVue event log. Alerts may also be set to notify users that an event has occurred. See Email Alerts and SMS Alerts for more information.

Creating Events

To create a new event, click the + icon at the top left of the Event Scheduler screen. The Create Event screen then provides options for setting up the event.

Events By Type

Numerous task types and various time/date settings are available for the event depending on the device selected.

Auto Setup

Auto Setup allows a user to select specific Devio devices to be automatically set up at a specific time.  Users may select multiple devices from the list. Devio Auto Setup is shown in the initial Add event screen, above.

Biamp Launch

SageVue can schedule the Biamp Launch process for TesiraFORTÉ X and Devio SCX devices.

Clear Missing Peripherals

The Clear event allows a user to schedule a Clear event for any missing peripherals for EasyConnect or Parlé devices. Clear may be set to occur indefinitely or end at a particular time/date.

Device Reboot

The Reboot event allows a user to schedule a reboot for Devio, EasyConnect, Parlé, and Tesira devices. If password-protected, the credentials will be entered in the fields next to the selected device. Devio devices will use the passwords in the Devio authentications list here. Reboot events are one-time only and may be set for any time zone from the drop-down. An example of a Tesira Reboot event is shown below:

Firmware Update

SageVue can schedule automated firmware updates for ATOM, EasyConnect, Devio, Parlé, and Tesira devices. These updates can be set for any time zone from the drop-down. Only one firmware image can be selected per event. Import the desired firmware and select devices to be updated. Password-protected devices will require that credentials be entered. Clicking View Notes will show firmware release notes below the Add Event dialog.

Recall Preset

Recall Preset allows users to schedule when a preset is recalled on selected Tesira devices. One preset may be selected for each Tesira system. Time zone, start date/time and recurrence are customizable. Recalls may be set to occur indefinitely or end at a particular time/date.

Refresh Peripheral

The Refresh event allows a user to schedule a refresh event of the peripherals for EasyConnect or Parlé devices. Refreshes may be set to occur indefinitely or end at a particular time/date.
